Seriously? Almost everything. Chips, popcorn <3, Pirate Booty, ice cream, cookies...yeah I love snacks it's pretty horrible. I prefer salty snacks over sweet usually. OH! And CANDY! I used to work at a candy store that's how bad I <3 candy.

4. Things I would do if I was a billionaire:
Eat then get liposuction because why workout? It'd buy a huge house so I could rescue lots of shelter cats and I'd knit and sew and have awesome gadgets and tech toys, pay off all my family's houses/depts, buy a Jeep! I could go on.

6. Jobs I’ve had:
Babysitter since I was 11, PakMail (kinda like a UPS store), CYO: A Confectionery Boutique, Custom costume maker.

A post about 'firsts'

So after seeing about Emma's little contest it really got me thinking about my knitting firsts.

Even though I started knitting last summer I only started to really get into it during the winter break. Then Spring break led to a lot of firsts while doing little Easter projects, but really HSKS has pushed me more than anything.

While making the bag for my spoilee I've learned TONS of new things! Here's my list of firsts:
- 1st time making an icord (I linked the pictures so my spoilee doesn't happen upon them if she doesn't want to see!)

- 1st time using circular needles
You can see the needles a little at the top
- 1st time picking up stitches
- 1st time felting
Now Felted!!!
- 1st time lining a knit bag.
- 1st time using Noro yarn! すごいですね！ (that means 'awesome!' in Japanese)

Back!

I made it back from the magical world of Disney! I'm a bit sore...and burned...and totally exhausted BUT it was good fun. Expedition Everest was...amazing! But it was HOT. Very. Very. Hot. And if I get my phone and camera working right again (my portable electronics are going on strike it seems) I'll have pictures posted here too of the trip.

Anyway! Thanks to Eleanor for watching Sam and Lavender for taking notes for me. It was very nice of you guys and I appreciate it a lot!

Oh, and what did I come back to? A comment saying I won the first quiz's drawing! I'm very appreciative. <3

And just one more thing, sorry for my bad spelling in the last quiz! Who knew orchid had an 'h' in it? Not me apparently! But thanks to those who helped me out with that.

Playing hooky!

This morning my parents took me from horwarts to have an overnight trip at a different magical place. Where? Disney world! We're going to meet up with my brother and his wife who are visiting there too so it should be fun!

We're going to the animal kingdom and its my first time so that's even more exciting since its the only park I haven't been to. Yay!

I'll take lots of fun picture to share with everyone when I get back!

Ready Set Go!

I got some free time to meet up with Cat and really got to know some of her interests. We both share a love of Starbucks and as anyone who shares our love would know it makes you feel closer to a person when you learn they're a fellow addict!

Anyway, now I feel like I can really start on her package and have the items I pick out and make be perfect for her! I can't wait for her to get it!!

Oh, and I haven't introduced my cat to everyone yet. He's only just gotten used to so many people being around and feeling comfortable enough to venture out of my bed.

As you can see he's pretty much claimed that rocking chair in the common room. So don't sit on him please!! Oh, and he's nice so you can feel free to pet him. He's not really into being held though, and he's a little skittish but very sweet! <3

Quick Knit

I got a new 'Mobile Owl' and wanted to make a cute case for it. I bought a skein of discounted but very pretty pink yarn for only $2.50 (originally $8.00!) and used a bit of it to knit this new awesome 'sock' as the patterned called it.
